Cotriples, two-term extensions and abstract kernels of Lie p-algebras over a ring of characteristic p > 0.G. RakviashviliTwo types of cotriple cohomologies of Lie p-algebras defined over a commutative ring R of characteristic p > 0 with identity are constructed. Interpretations of the first and second cotriple cohomology groups in terms of two-term extensions and obstructions, analogous to those for Lie p-algebras, are obtained.
